Session 8

After arriving in Phandalin and learning about the missing children, the group headed into the forest to search for them. After rescuing Tinus Redbud from a blight attack, you were able to pick up the trail of Alana Hallwinter. You followed the trail to a next of gnolls living in the trees. You dispatched with the gnolls and rescued the children. After returning to Phandalin and receiving a heroes welcome, and several free drinks, you were approached by a druid named Geheruna. She told you the story of Anima Lucis, the “Soul of Light” unicorn that was corrupted hundreds of years ago by evil druids that wanted to convert it into a Tenebris Unicorn, a truly gruesome and evil creature. One druid had a change of heart and stole the horn from the unicorn. The body was transformed into an abomination called Anima Mali. The horn was attached to a body of living wood, crafted by good druids, and became a neutral aligned unicorn called Animae Griseo. You had agreed to assist Geheruna in the morning, although you all had been drinking.
